New trends put brows on fleek
People who simply browse the Internet for popular trends would find that bold has become the new beautiful.
Women’s eyebrows have quickly gone from slender and sleek to thick and full. Women have found there are four different ways to help eyebrows become like model Cara Delevingne’s.
But if you are thinking about getting microblading or semi/permanent makeup on your brows, as mentioned in my previous article here, it’s important to do your research first.
Microblading or a permanent makeup is a treatment that would help someone who doesn’t have shape, has sparse or overplucked hair or no brows at all. It’s a more natural look than a powder brow style because the makeup is applied with a featured hair-like stroke.
Many people mistakenly think microblading is a normal tattoo ( like a bodily art tattoo). However Microblading / Permanent Makeup only lasts for about 12-24 months visibly, while an actual ink tattoo will last visibly for the lifetime.
The blade applying the pigment doesn’t enter deeper than the dermis, which bodily tattoo would go past.
It’s a two-part process
Your initial appointment + retouch appointment 4 weeks - 3 months later. The second appointment is a good time to address and make any tweaks to the brows.
If you have grown accustomed to the look of your brows with makeup on them, you may still want to fill them in or add more intensity with topical makeup when you are getting all glammed up. Some people still would use pencils and shadows over the Microbladed brows from time to time even when they ADORE having the hairstrokes there, because they know exactly where to fill and it takes much less time when that part it taken care of. (that goes for tweezing as well). That allows them to change the "look" while having the eyebrows there at all other times.
Should I choose permanent makeup or microblading?
A good technician will be able to offer both methods and will advise you on the best technique for your expectations and desired outcome.
