How does it work?
During the thorough consultation El will discuss your desired outcome, explain procedure steps and healing stages. El will also perform a colour match and together with the client will design the best shape for the eyebrows. The treatment itself takes between 30-45 minutes but the consultation, colour match, shape design, treatment and the aftercare will all together and will take approximately 2 hours. Only pharmaceutical grade pigments are used for the treatments (not to be confused with tattoo inks!). There is no actual downtime after the treatment and you can return to your daily routine right after. El advises all clients to do thorough research on the therapist you are going to employ to do the treatment. What are their qualifications, how much do they charge, if the price looks very attractive - why is it so? These treatments are not cheap to perform so the price has to reflect that. If it's too cheap, you should ask yourself why... if something sounds too good to be true- it's usually is. El recommends checking the FAQ section on the therapist’s website, where detailed information about the procedure should be explained. It's not a facial or massage, so make sure you do your research properly to avoid complications and possible costly removal.
How long does it last? Once the full treatment is performed (original treatment and the retouch treatment between 4 weeks to 3 months later) the effect should last between 9-24 months but El recommends a yearly maintenance top up. It is a very subtle procedure and it gives definition without looking too strong, obvious or feminine. This is a treatment that only experienced and fully qualified artists should perform, therefore El strongly recommends doing research before choosing a therapist. If you are considering such treatment you can contact El with questions or book a free consultation.
